Privacy policy

Unsolved.world exists to help people find a cause and take a first step. This page explains what data the site collects along the way, why, and how to control it.

What's collected

Site analytics. Google Analytics records anonymised pageviews and interactions (which cards get viewed, which tabs get opened, whether the quiz gets completed) so it's clear what's actually useful. This only runs if the cookie banner is accepted; nothing from Google Analytics loads before that.

First-party click logs. Separately, the site logs which cards, tabs and organisation links get clicked. No name, email, or other identifying detail is attached to these logs.

Contact and suggestion form. If a message is sent via the contact page, the name and email supplied (if any) are used only to reply and are never published or shared.

Cookie preferences can be changed at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Who this data is shared with

Google (Analytics), Supabase (the click logs), and SplitForms (the contact form's email delivery) process this data as service providers. None of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes, and it is never sold or shared for advertising.

Your rights

Analytics and click logs are anonymised and hold nothing that could identify you, so there's nothing to look up or delete there. The only personal data ever held is a message sent through the contact page. To ask whether one exists under your name or email, or to have it deleted, email contact@unsolvedworld.org.
